The Wood Yard will be at the Lab on Saturday 23 June at 2PM.  

Domestic hardwood(s) etc. include:Cherry, Red Oak, White Oak, Hickory, Poplar, Walnut, Basswood, Ash, Alder, as well as, Eastern Red Cedar and Cypress.  

Selection of Imported hardwood(s) and Exotic lumber include: African Mahogany, Bloodwood, Bubinga, Canarywood, Chechen, Cocobolo, Ebiara, Ipe, Iroko, Jatoba, Katalox, Lacewood, Leopardwood, Lyptus, Movingui, Padauk, Peruvian Walnut, Purpleheart, Red – Marblewood, Sapele, Teak, Tasmanian Blackwood, Wenge, Yellowheart, Zebrawood, and Ziricote.  We carry an extensive line of ¼”, ½” and ¾” cabinet grade plywood. These include Birch (B-2 & C-2 & Pre-finished), Cherry, Maple, Red Oak, White Oak, Walnut, Mahogany, MDF and Bendable plywood.

This is a reminder the FireStarter FABLab will be close starting Saturday 2 Jun 2018 through 9 Jun 2018 to allow the installation of the central dust control system.  

The FireStarter FABLab will be closed on 28 May 2018 for Memorial Day. 

The FABLab will also be closed from 2-9 June 2018 for the installation on the central dust control system.  We apologize for the inconvenience as we improve your maker space. 

Good afternoon!  We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Years.  With this New Year comes something new for FireStarter and that is our totally brand new website.  Our Website has been totally overhauled and we think the user interface and ease of use will be much to your liking compared to our old and outdated one.  Currently anyone who has used our sign in system or signed up for classes on the previous site should have an account already setup here.  We encourage you all to login using the email address you either use for signing in at the FABLab or the one you used to sign up for one of our classes and select the I Forgot My Password and follow to prompts on resetting your password.  We still have quite a few changes we are wanting to make to this site and bugs to work out so please hang in there with us. All of the classes are up to date and will be constantly updated as we release new ones. If you run across anything or have an idea for our site please let us know utilizing the Contact Us section and we will try and get on that as soon as possible and make changes if they are possible.  We hope you enjoy this new site as much as we do.  Also please keep a lookout in our News Section as we are going to try and update it frequently with new things happening in and around FireStarter!  Thanks in Advanced for all of your patience as we continue to grow!
